Painted Objects

I had some time over the last few weeks... to enjoy painting some objects -- little wooden animals.... in a frivolous way. there's nothing special about this ... only a chance to be 'crafty' without thinking too much. it was fun to see the herd unfold.

i initially intended to give them as gifts for christmas... but.. as i grew more invested in how they inter-related -- i decided to keep them together. i will enjoy them for a while... THEN.... share them with others!

enjoy!

Aaaah.........Hollyhocks: Floral

i love these gorgeous hollyhocks. they say everything i've longed to say.... in painting the various hollyhocks this summer.

the active background.... brings the bunches of flower pods to life... creating energy and summer freshness.
