Hawaiian Hibiscus

Here is a small Hawaii painting that I produced before my trip to Hawaii.

I was excited to go on my trip-- and was getting myself in the mood to see exotic imagery.

Returning again

Returning again to paint the gator.

I have time now -- to begin painting on my Everglades series.

This small gator painting is a nice example of the series of paintings I will be doing on the gator.

The final depth and saturation of color is important to convey the strength and stealth of the great alligator of the swamp.

I am now turning my attention to the Everglades Series of work. It's been a while since I've had time to work in watercolor- or work on this rich body of imagery. I look forward to a fruitful spring!
